InComm began in 1992 rather simply, in a garage with a single computer generating a single point-of-sale terminal integration. Since then, the company has grown to be the market leader in new payment technologies and solutions.

Innovation has been the foundation on which InComm has grown. With more than 206 domestic and international patents, their technology has helped form a new brand of commerce that includes gift cards, prepaid wireless products, reloadable debit cards, digital music downloads and various payment solutions.

Their strong technology base has allowed InComm to grow from a single garage to an international company offering the industry’s largest prepaid product suite in just over two decades. Instead of a single computer, they have more than 500,000 points of distribution, more than 1,000 brand partners and 2,300 employees globally.


InComm’s previous Microsoft solution, Project 2010 on premise, had critical environment issues that regularly interrupted their processes. Thus, there was a significant amount of down time and many fragmented processes. Each project manager ran their own reports and utilized multiple methods to keep control of the projects. As processes and data varied so greatly, it was difficult to compare and communicate between different project teams. Between the different activities going on and the software crashing, the InComm team set out to find a better solution; Microsoft Project Online.


After extensive vetting, including demos and gaining critical support of VPs, Incomm implemented a phased migration from Microsoft Project On-Premise to Microsoft Project Online. Wicresoft and their highly skilled delivery team quickly earned Trusted Advisor status and assisted with implementation of the new Project Online environment – from establishing new PMO Processes to technical configuration of the cloud based PPM platform. The team assisted with Organization Change Management services assisting with a Communication and rollout strategy and training of the global Team. InComm continues to use the Wicresoft team for functional and technical support to their Project Managers and PMO team globally.


Through successful implementation of MS Project Online as a project management platform, beginning in May, InComm has unified their project management process and formed a PMO. Their availability and performance issues have been erased with 520 projects migrated and 700+ credentialed users. The phased migrations approach helped them to gradually introduce the program while addressing any issues that arose and making modifications. Performance all-around is drastically improved, with zero platform down time, enabling the client to successfully implement standard project processes. All 700+ users throughout the company now utilize the same reporting standards.
